Esky150 Trees and NeighborWoods Planting Parties

Esky150 Trees and NeighborWoods Planting Parties were two distinct projects that offered a unique way to remember family members, honor friends and celebrate special occasions with the lasting, living gift of a tree, shrub or daffodils.

Each project enabled the City of Escanaba, the Escanaba Area Public Schools, Bay College and the UP State Fair to plant trees, shrubs and daffodils in neighborhood parks and recreation areas, at the public schools, the college and the fairgrounds to honor Escanaba's Sesquicentennial Celebration in 2013.

For more information please select one of the two projects below:

    1. The Esky150 Trees Project for professional planting of large “Landscape” quality trees.
    2. The NeighborWoods Planting Parties Project for residents and volunteers to come together by neighborhood or school, or at the Fairgrounds, to plant shrubs and daffodils to enhance their community.

Please note that Esky 150 Trees Donations will
only be accepted through July 14th, 2013

The Esky 150 Trees project plans to close accepting any further donations for trees, shrubs and/or daffodils after July 14th 2013, to allow sufficient time to plan for and order the trees for the September 2013 planting.  The major partners for this tree planting program will continue to accept donations directly to their respective offices:
